In Motion

Some photographs freeze a moment. These ones move through it. Shot using in-camera motion blur, the In Motion series transforms familiar subjects – a Norfolk coastline, a garden flower – into something closer to painting than photography. Colour, light and form are what remain when the detail falls away. Each print is made from a single in-camera exposure with no digital manipulation of the blur effect.
